Just Looking

Oil on canvas/ 24 by 24

One day I spilled a large box of pastels. Over the years I have accumulated hundreds, some full sticks, some broken or worn down, with myriad colors. I cursed! That citrus is so bright and the reds are brilliant side by side! Then, just as I would when painting, I lost all sense of time and was engrossed in sensuous feeling.
