As an infant she was left on the steps of an orphanage in Ironton, Ohio. The matron of the orphanage beat her with a buggy whip. In a courtroom her dress was unbuttoned down the back so the jury could see what happened. Then she grew up in foster care. She never got over it. She loved me but hurt people hurt people.
